The last day of the Patriots’ Party in the Pub was in full swing as Welsh trio White Dice took to the stage. Performing mid-paced soft rock songs, the band attracted a good-sized audience.

The guys looked completely comfortable on the stage, very cool and controlled. The vocalist interacted well with the crowd, telling several anecdotes, including how one of their songs is featured on a porn DVD! Their music was beautifully relaxing, perfectly performed and I must admit that I was quite disappointed that the set ended so soon.

What I liked best about this band was that they seemed to be three genuinely nice guys, the type you could take home to your mum! I loved their sound, their look, hell I loved everything about them but the devil in me would love to see them lose a bit of that self-control and completely rock out, just to see the result!

The guys urged the audience to find them on Facebook and promoted their new album (quite a lot). I would highly recommend White Dice’s songs as an accompaniment to any chill-out session. I’ve found them on Facebook, have you?

Here’s hoping the trio grace The Patriot Inn with their presence again in the future as they would be welcomed back with open arms.
